On July 31st at 3:25 pm I am beyond proud to say that my little family became complete as Ron and I welcomed Eric Joseph Cole into the world. He is a healthy boy 7 lbs 9 oz and 20 in long. He is adorable and we are all home and doing very well. Dad and son are taking a nap right now as it was a very long first night for the 3 of us. I can't even begin to say how amazingly happy I am to have my son finally here with me, nor did I think I could ever love someone so much so fast...he is perfect. I dont know how to embed pics or I would I'm not that cool. But if you are on my myspace or facebook they are up there.

Is is weird that I get really mad when Ramen is more than 5 for $1? If i have to pay more than .20 for it that is just to much. It's just crappy dried noodles and a flavor packet. So not worth a whole quarter.

Awesome things happen sometimes that just make you feel good about yourself and life in general...tonight was one of those nights.
Practice ended at 7:30 for IC tonight. Dot and I are hungry and when trying to decide where to go we settle on Taco Bell since there does happen to be one close by. We go and enjoy our tasty mini nachos and food items. We prepare to leave, we go out to my car and I dump out an old Jack cup of tea and leave the cup sitting there ( I know dick move on my part to Mother Nature I'm sorry) I climb in my car and there is a guy standing by my window, I think he is going to say something about the cup I left. Turns out he was deaf and tring to find a ride. I told him that I signed...his face lit up like christmas, he was so excited that i could understand him. He asked if I would give him a ride home. I said sure ( My mom has already scolded me for giving rides to strangers in parking lots but he wasn't a big guy and he was in the back seat of my explorer and he was just so in need...plus dot would have fucked him up if he would have tried anthing.) I clear out the back seat and we go to get in when he sees the Roller Derby written on my back window. He asks if I play. I tell him yes me and my friend do. He asks what team I show him Dots team hoodie. Turns out he has seen derby and knows the team and even recognises Dot and me...way cool. He is super nice and I take him home and he gives me 5$ (which I tried several times to refuse) when we get to his place I let him out and he tells me thank you like 5 times and i tell him your welcome, no big deal and then he unzips the jacket he has been wearing and he is wearing a red shirt with a big yellow star on it.
In a line of coincidences tha lead up to us being at that Taco Bell at that time when that particual man would have needed my help, he also turned out to be a Commie loving new IC fan...who woulda guessed.
Over all I feel great for helping this guy out and I think my good karma meter is back on full, and I feel good about getting to use my sign ability to help someone that needed it out of the blue. It makes me feel like I chose right staying with ASL, it felt great to help that guy. The look on his face made my whole night and will probably make my day tomorrow too.

I did something today I haven't done in a long time...I cried...specifically i cried for my Grandma.
Amber, Jason, Ron, Blake, his mom and I went to the San Xavier mission today, i have never been. It was supremley beautiful. There where so many statues ans beautiful iconagraphy. Not being a person that really just sticks to one religion, churchs I find in general are usually very pretty. i went inside and looked at all the statues they have there, some of their statues they put in real clothes which was kinds weird because they make the statues look weirdly realistic.
After we looked inside Amber went and bought me a candle to burn for my grandma. After that i cried, a actually couldnt stop. i was telling stories about her and thinking about her alot and when i think about my Grandma to much I tend to get very emotional and cry. It was good i think in a way, its always good to get it out. i want to thank Amber for taking me there.
I just miss her lot...she is an amazing woman and I am thankful for every day i got to spend with her.
So in short, i spent a lot of time today thinknig about grandma and i love her alot and miss her terribly. But its ok i know wherever she is she is happy with my grandpa and they are together again.
on a happy note blakes Mom is a super cool lady!
There was a Tramps game tonight and I walways like it when i can cheer for all my friends on one team.
on an update note, i finished another semester of school and am off for the summer, skating is gonig well, we got 2 new skates recently and they are really fantastic and they are both fun girls! i may update more later talk about disney and skating and school and life.

To do a quick update...
I went to the Ren Faire with Amber and Jason saturday, I had a great time as usual. we ate some good food, watched some good shows, and heard some good music.
Work has been gonig well, skating has been amazing because my team is amazing. My girls are great skaters and great people and I couldnt be happier with my team, they have all been worknig their ass off to get ready for the new season. In honor of my team i made this new doll.
This is my friend Angela, known as Dot Stroyeski, one hell of a blocker. I will be making them for my whole team, next i think will either be Bella or Vixen, I'm not sure.
My car is still running faithfully, and school is going well.
I'm happy in life, happy at work, happy in love (cuz Ron rocks), so life pretty much is gonig ok. One of my best friends in the world will be back from Iraq in a couple of weeks, which makes me happy.
I took my skates to work today to show the kids some stuff. I showed them some falls and turns. they thought it was really cool. I did a figure 4 fall and scraped my leg, it bleed a little and they all freaked out, it was kinda cool.

Last night was my best guy friend Ian's wedding to one of my very good girlfriends Naomi. It was a beautiful ceremony and one fucking awsome reception! We drank and ate and danced and had a merry time. All the boys looked awsome in their suits and fedoras, very smooth. And I don't want to toot my own horn but I think us bridemaids looked pretty fucking awsome too. I went to Gadabout to get my hair done, it was pretty cheep and it's the first time I've ever been there. It was all classy and shit.
I am so happy for my friends and I know that they are gonig to be together for ever and have great kids. They are so made for each other.
The ceremony was done by Ians dad who is a deacon of his church. The recption inside was great. There was a live band and a dj for later. A huge cake that Ians aunt made that was incredible. Great food, good music and all my friends where there, it was by far the best wedding I've ever been to.
Once again congrats to Ian and Noami on there new life together.

Well a little bit of sad news has come my way. Princess Adora, my pet rabbit of about 3 years, died this afternoon. She was sick anyway and I saw this one coming which is why I guess I'm taking it much better than the death of my first rabbit Bandit. I think I will be giving up on rabbits for a little bit untill I get my own place and can take care of one better. Maybe a dwarf bunny, they are really cute. So thats pretty much it.
They let me drive the bus home from work today, so I have a short bus sitting in my driveway, it's kinda funny.

Last night I skated my first game ever as a member of the Iron Curtain. It was a fantastic game and I can't wait till next season when I get to skate again. To Miss Carrie Gunns...you're going down! you know I love you baby!
After the game I went to the Surley Wench where I had drinks with Mom, Sis, Carrie Gunns, Polly Graff, and some of my teamates, and some of the other league girls. We had a great time and I celebrated alot.
Even though we didn't win we still played one hell of a game and did better than we did at the last game, so thats something to be proud of. next seaqson I think we will really be a team to be reconed with. I want to thank all my rollergirls for their support they gave me before, durring, and after the game.
I went to something today called a 'Cootie Buffet'. It was held at the VFW hall by my house. It was to raise money to keep clean sheets on the beds at the VA hospitals. So mom, mandi, matt, brian and myself went down there and had lunch. It wasnt bad, the food was decent and only 5$. It was pork or turkey (Matt calls it Purkey) mashed potatoes, veggies, and a desert. I wore my Iron Curtain shirt there because it was on the top of my clothes drawer. After we left mandi was like "they didnt seem all the welcoming there" I looked own and realised "maybe it's because I'm wearing a communist shirt to a place full of guys who probably ought in the Korean War." we all laughed about for like 5 minutes. Mom says next time before we leave the house we'll do a wardrobe check.
Then I did some shopping today for work clothes. Today was pretty laid back, I am hella sore and glad to have the rest. Once again, thank you to all my girls on the IC you girls rock the house and I am proud to be part of your family.

The reason I love this line is this...

Lately things have been gonig pretty well here. I got my promotion at work! I am now the assistant director at my daycare. This nice new promotion also comes with a nice raise. So thats awsome. It will help with school and moving out.
Also I am learning to drive my mom's stick shift. I am planning on getting my licence next weekend. I figured, 'i don't have access to an automatic all the time, so I had better suck it up and learn to drive the stick shift.'
In all reality its not really that hard better than I thought it would be. I drove my mom and I to Walmart. Through trafic on major streets and everything.
The last bit of good news, the girl that had cancer and had to leave my class is returning to class on Monday. She is in remission and has been given the ok to attend for a couple of hours a day a couple of days a week.
Finally, I have my first game coming up next Saturday. I will be my first and only game of the season but who cares...at least I get to skate. A couple of people from my work and Mandi and her friends will be attending. I'm expecting a good turnout.
I'm also trying to go to Disneyland ON Halloween. Anyone interested in accompanying me?

I have gone to my first 2 scrimages since I have officially joined Iron Curtain. I got my ass handed to me pretty much. On Friday Anja kicked my ass, I fell and go rope burn on my knee. Then Sunday Jez and Doe and pretty much all of FTW came at me and the scab on my knee got torn off and my knee pad slipped and I hit my knee again. I took like 3 really good falls that scrimage, including one where I almost broke my own hand and another where I did the splits.
I felt like I was improving and I did make a couple good hits. I have a good team to skate with which also helps. I have 2 more scrimages to make and 3 more team practices and then it's on for the game on the 20th. I have also found out that it's almost impossibe to be a mout breather (which I am) and effectivaly wear a mouth guard. I dont feel like I'm gettin good deep breasths and then it's all spitty and gross when you take it out. But it beats the hell out of loosing your teeth. When I flew over Doris I was so happy to have it in because now I just have a bruised elbow and pad burn on my arm instead of both my front teeth missing.
That I think sums it up. Scriage sucked but I'm still looking forward more of them and I can't wait till game day.

This post is really just to desplay the new icon I took from Amber, she won first place in her icon contest with this one.
Also I saw the most horrific thing at the Walgreens when I was coming home.
This woman was going in when I was coming out to the car. She had to be about 250 and was wearing nothing but black gym shorts and a DIRTY WHITE SPORTS BRA! No shirt of any kind...and her stuff was just hanging eveywhere. It was really gross. She had prison looknig tattoos on her boobs and bad back fat being pushed out by the sports bra. How hard is it to put on a shirt? I hope I don't sound like a bitch and I don't mean to offend anyone but seriously, wear a shirt...thats all.
